Below find our 6 different trend stories for womens wear spring summer 2011.
Hope you will enjoy them!
The 6 trendboards shown above have been created for a danish womens wear fair in beginning of march.
We visited the danish interior fair “Formland” - www.formland.dk- last week. One of our favorite exhibitors is danish “superstudio” - www.super-studio.dk- they have really nice, inspirering and humorous products. Above is a small selection. Picture 2 + 5 show the beautifull Sky Planter from BOSKKE, New Zealand. Picture 1 shows My Brothers mirrow/frame from american designer Harry Allen. Picture 3 + 4 show Banana Bowl - also by Harry Allen - from his reality serial and finally the Brush Vase by Harry Allen on picture 6. superstudio has many more nice things - so check their webside.
When we deliver our seasonal trend talks for customers, we do also give a talk about our version of the megatrends that are likely to influence our way of living and acting in the future. The following 3 stories are part of our present mega trend presentation.
“We are finally starting to react to the increasing threats against our environment. We are heading towards a regular industrial revolution where all waste products are required to be degradable in order to enter into an eternal cycle, where everything is reused - an ecological storm is sweeping over our planet.”
“The demography of the populations are changing - a parisian citizen has much more in common with citizens from other metropoles than with a french farmer. Our fellow-feeling is much more influenced by our way of living than by our than by our nationality, communication is travelling fast and across borders.”
“Is the fair the retail of the future? The consumers are demanding more challange, more fun and more adventures to keep on spending money on products, they actuallly do not need! The ways of shopping need to be updated big time. Think differently -direct and personally. There is a need for more imagination, fantasy and provocation.”

We have just spend a few days in wonderful Berlin attending the Bread & Butter Fair. We were highly inspired by strolling round the streets of Berlin - especially Oranienburger Strasse. Here are a few eyecatchers.
Passing through Oranienburger Strasse we spotted the opening of a new inspirering shop - Premiata - with clothes and footwear for men and women. Placed in number 84 it is really worth a visit. Notice the exciting interior with raw walls and a beautiful old flooring made like a patchwork. The style is mainly updated classics with a futuristic twist.
